33 for sale some decent pics
Not buying but some pretty solid pics of a 33 sport deck. I remember it was for sale on here a few years ago and I liked the look of this boat. After years of trying to get my ducks in a row i'm still not yet in the market but I did manage to pick up some property in St. Augustine so things are in the works. Getting closer to my PP every year.

Ive always liked the blue on that boat... Just not an outboard guy... Will make someone a nice rig
|
73 mph might be a bit of a stretch with 300xs.
|
That boat has been advertised forever. What's the issue? Price? Looks great.
|
That is a clean boat and runs nice, seen it many times around here.
|
I think it had differnet motors last time it was advertised. I think it was cheaper last time too. Maybe a different owner.
|
I really wonder why this boat isnt sold yet..

Nice ride and looks good.
Maybe rlj and fish can split it. I will buy a crate of mix and frosting so them biotches can mix me a cake. The blue looks sweet but the beaters kill it for me too... |
The outboards are tough to beat though. I've thought many times about the triple 300 boat. 85mph with air conditioning and very low maintenance is a nice combo.

He uses it almost every weekend up here during the summer. But, In Florida it just sits on the lift all winter. Go figure...... Honestly the boating in Florida has really taken a turn for the worst with all of the no wake and manatee, it takes sooooo long to go anywhere
|
Not in South Miami( Biscayne Bay) but i see you're in Boca
|
It's has been repowered. It had 300x's on it when it was for sale a while back. Beautiful boat!
|
That’s what I thought but wasn't sure. Probably pretty efficient with the xs. I would love to own this boat but i can't justify it yet. It would get used twice a year and i would have to pay to store it until I build a house. I need to stop looking until I’m ready to buy cause I’m constantly torturing myself.

This video sealed the deal or me....this sutphen does 96.3 with 3 300x's
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4V4H_CEyHxI Doesnt have the big block sound but it sure sweet when you are pulling away from one!!!!!! |
Never had or wanted I/O's. My 250 hp promaxes will push my Talon to just under 100 before most of my friends with I/Os can get on plane. They sip fuel at 60mph and if they break i can swap a powerhead in an hour. With offshore mids they sound killer. If I go back to a vee the powerplay is at the top of my list.
|
And now the noise ordinance! Got pulled over south of the Cove 2 weeks ago.
|
:bong:you guys are crazy! Lol
Big blocks all the way!! Aside from fuel pumps (damn ethanol) the 496's have ran like a top! And dont get too bad of fuel economy |
AJ is an outboard hater haha, even if the ob was 15mph faster, got double the fuel mileage, and ran for double the amount of time before any maintenance was required, I still don't think he would take it. I'm also an IO guy but once you can get over loosing the big block noise, the ob boats are the way to go. Plus those 2.5's in key west sound pretty damn good going by at 9k rpm. All in all for coolness factor I think I would rather have a quad outboard boat than a 525/bravo boat....

For once i will agree with you 302... I think OB's look great... On the 33 CC's :D
Although the mileage and maintenance would be nice, three boxes on the back of the boat in my way and no swim platform dont appeal to me. Nor does the look in general. But to each there own. Maybe when im older.... |

Beaters ruin the usefulness and look of the transom and sound like an army of penci sharpeners at speed. My buddy had a tripp 33 and it was a cool boat. Just seeing it made me want one. The one pictured in this thread looks bad ass too and I would love to own it if I boated in salt. Nothing is cooler than a couple BB's with dried out pipes screaming by at 6000rpm. And if any of you guys say different it may be time to hand in your man card. :evilb: |
I was only a phone call away from buying a boat with 2x 300xs (302 sport) when my finally finally chimed in and started looking at the pics and said she really wanted the sunpad... OB's are cool and would have loved to have them for all the pro's but with kids and rafting up, they are just in the way..

What does yours run with the 496s'? They are very reliable and should run 100s of hours before refresh. A friend picked up a 91', we think, from Louisiana with 572s' two weeks ago with No Agenda on the sides. Anyone know the boat? I'm wondering what it will top out at.

3/4 tanks of fuel, the wife and her kitchen she brought with us, plus all our typical weekend gear boat went 84 mph at 5400 rpm when she gave me the that's enough smack to the ribs. Water was slick as glass and it has out the box 28 bravos. Dyno sheets say the motors make peak power at 5700. I am hoping that with light load a little set up work and seat time plus a good set of wheels that Brett is gonna work on for me that the 90 mark is not out of reach.
Still a lot slower than the motion, but as a family we are really starting to enjoy all it has to offer as far as room and performance. Plus I am glad to have the Big Blocks and dry pipes back behind me again!!! |
