with some TLC this boat could be brought back to very nice condition... obviously a survey would be in order but if the hull checked out you could do some interior work. Cabin and Bilge seems to need the most attention, and you can bet most of the hardware should be stripped and re-powder coated. For sure I think mid 20's would be fair with the work needed to be done on it and that is because I do my work myself. If you had to pay somebody to do the work... I'm not sure it would be a good deal in the mid 20's.

Almost all PP's that you see come on the market are perfectly maintained (because they are rare and pride of ownership is shown) and you can eat off the engines and bilges on them. So yes the prices on those PP's are higher but rightfully so.

When I finish my boat this spring I am going to keep it for a few years to enjoy my hard work. When I do start to look for a new to me bigger boat (hopefully a PP) I don't know if I will do a project again or just shell out the extra coin for a perfectly maintained boat.
