IMO, price is gonna have to come down a bit for it to be cost-effective. But the market is pretty much saying that already.

Now is this one one of the older style powerplays, without the deeper cockpit and cabin? What year did the freeboard get higher? I hear a project boat and it gets my gears turning, that means it is something that I can probably afford to get into

The Powerplay owners on here are much more knowledgable than I am, but I believe they went deeper in '94 or '95.

1995 and newer have more freeboard, they raised the X dimension in 99 and again later but not sure when. Mine is a 2002 and shorties wouldnt hurt.

They raised the freeboard (hull side knuckle) 4 3/4" in 1994 models (amongst other modifications). In 1997 they raised the x-dimension 1 1/4" due to the development of the low water pick-up of the Bravo drives. Where did you get the info on raising it again? From my understanding 1997 was the last of the hull modifications.

Powerplay Jay can probably give better info then me, but even though the hull was unchanged i believe they raised the X dimension on later models.

Does anyone have any pictures or any idea on the size of cabin for this power play? Or how the cockpit compares to 300 checkmate or 35 fountian?

When we were rigging our boat we talked with Dan W about x-dimensions, he said they are all conservative on the pleasure boats, even the last few built. Mostly because of Prop technology
