[QUOTE=pinball;4256022]I do know that the only race 28 s had single big blocks there were only 2 of them .And o
i know that they were only built with twin small blocks and very tight and sits pretty deep in the water and thats the first time any mention of twin big blocks. Small blocks are already stuffed in there big time. ?[/QUOTE

I have seen a 28 in orlando fl with a pair of big blocks. Never saw it in the water though.

Yes your correct it was owned by a guy name Bill from NJ he had pictures of the boat and the upgraded interior. IDave who I bought it from posted looking to buy a 28 poweplay and Bill said he was wanting to sell. When Dave got the boat there was some motor issues so he pulled the old motors and put 6.2merc efi's bored 30 over to 383. He wanted reliable and fuel efficiency with the overall condition of the boat it was a great idea. The boat runs 71.6 on gps I believe was the number.

Your gonna love that boat when i mentioned to my guy you have the 6.2 s he said those are the newer style small blocks and are nice power. From what i know the 28 is they use the same mold as the 33 and block off the back to make it shorter. Very solid boat and runs better in big waves at 55 60 rather than slower.

Never thought I would own a bout this nice and knowing the boat was done by one of the best guys in the high performance boating industry in our area is a dream come true!
