A few may already know, but I officially took possession of my new ride today a few weeks after parting with my favorite 33. Thanks Robbie for passing the torch on this beautiful 38! I plan on using this thread as I did for the one on my 33 so many pics and vids to come. Looking forward to Boyne Thunder next year!

Epic is right. As everyone at LOTO right now is laying high speed runs on bathtub water, I still consider the Boyne thread the tops of the year. I get the speed thing and appreciate the efforts, tuning, trial & error, money, and time to do what these men and machines are doing, but if it can't be done in the rough I'm not that interested. I'd have been more interested in a mile run at the Boyne event than this any day.

I got to see it yesterday in person, unfortunately on land. Boat is like new, the attention to detail and rigging are second to none.

Robbie reported mid-90's with the boat, I have had the boat out one time on Spring Lake (no wake lake)... Working a lot and trying to finish my barn interior before winter so I can heat. Will still make it onto Lk MI or Erie before the year is over. We love the boat, great room in it, awesome stereo, and overall the boat really needs nothing. That is what I was going for- because all of the stuff I did to the 33 was costly. I'm going to run it as is for a while and maybe do boxes in a few seasons.
