Default 38 Powerplay on the market

I'm the 2nd owner and have owned this boat for 13 years. A rare opportunity to own one of the 15 38's ever built. It's been a fantastic ride and I will miss it.

It was no secret that the original owner struggled with the Cobra motors/drives trying to get it dialed in (construction guy from Boca, can't remember his name right now). In your ownership have you been able to get it running like a 38 PP should? How fast does it run now?

I have been in this boat MANY times over the years John has owned it, I would put it up against any Cigarette for handling and ride. When everyone else is backing off due to water getting rough, that boat just ran through it. Poker runs at their best!

As listed in the ad, it was re-rigged 50 hrs ago, the motor and drives were matched to each other by the Bravo Shop, It is a great package.

I will challenge anyone to find a better cared for boat...

38 PP is amazing. My buddy Oliver owned the black/white deck one and he was friends with the guy that built this one. No life was on Oliver's lift for a few months so I saw it years ago. Olivers boat became an OSO boat (for a summer) then got sold/sank and it showed up on Craigslist a few times. Stock 525's it ran about 84 but it was a beast of a boat. I've followed a lot of the 38 PP's out there and the most mint one around is the navy/white deck in California. It had about 150 hours on it and the owner paid a west coast builder to repower it with new Merc 700s. I'd bet it doesn't have 200 hours on the hull and it sits in A/C storage.

I'd love to get a 38!

I was at Oliver‘s house yesterday and I have to make a correction his 38 PP with 525s would run 80 all day long on a perfect day it would run 82

He thought the boat looked amazing for being 20 yrs old!

John's 38 is mint. He has spared no expense in upkeep and maintenance. If I was in the market, it would already be in my slip.
