Talking Finally bought a PowerPlay!

Wanted one for 15 years, but got sidetracked into buying Skaters. I bought the boat featured on Danny's website. It's a 1991 25' w/twin 200's. It's the boat with green "splash" graphics and teal interior. It's been completely updated since, i.e. new style dash, white Gaffrig gauges, 2.5 Cowlings, Bob's lower units and a stereo that would make the boys in the hood envious. Boat's been stored indoors it's entire life and not a single scratch on it. It was worth the wait!

When it grows up, it'll be a 38' PowerPlay!

That boat's been out there for a while. Nice boat... I have the 25 open w/2 300s. Hell of a boat you bought. Let me know if you are ever down south around the elliott key area. We'll hook up. Post some pics !!

A '25 with twin 300's?! Really? How do you get the worm to stay on the hook at that speed? :-)

Elliot Key=Can Do! I bought the boat to explore less familiar waters. We spend most of our time on the Intracoastal in Ft. Lauderdale, where my brother and I have a 72' Broward that blazes along at 18 knots with both turbos glowing on 1271's.

Looking forward to opening up down in the bay areas of Miami. If you're heading up to Lauderdale at any time, give me a call! Carl @ 561-447-0742

Hey Robbie,

If ever there was one 38' I'd own, it would have to be the new stepped hull PowerPlay! However, I'm one of those guys that buys used boats from guys that have more dollars... then sense, therefore I'll be waiting a few years before "stepping" up. I truly wanted a 33' for many years, however I chose the 25 because it was easier to trailer and is easily towed behind our yacht when we go to the Bahamas. For now, I'm happy. I'd rather own a PowerPlay... in any length or condition... than any other performance boat you can buy.

Carl

Good purchase, you'll love it, they really are a solid boat.
Robbie why are you selling the 38', or are you just making us jealous, that thing is gorgeous. Later, Darren

Cool Carl..
I'll give you a call when I head to FT Lauderdale. I've never done the Shooters thing and am thinking about doing it soon.
Ohh... and as far as the worm thing... I don't use bait.. Just bare hooks with hopes of snagging something
Here's a pic..

See my post on here with questions about Powerplay. I'm slightly interested in the 33 as compared to the Sunsation 32 Dominator in all respects plus ballpark pricing and support...
