Re: what props are proper...
Dono, wait until spring and run the boat again. If the motors are good you should be able to spin those props at about 5000rpm. Hydromotive's like alot of trim on that boat,7 too 9 on the pin, but work well if they come up on plane. 28 bravos would be a good choice, and spin slightly higher. Matt at Throttle-Up has worked both style props for me with good results.Good luck.

Re: what props are proper...
PPLAY33, The motors are fresh hp500's so i think i'll lab what i have and see how she runs. I was only trimmed to about 5, so i guess i've got room to play. I've only been out 4 times with her and this is my first performance boat so im still a little cautious about running on the edge. A little more seat time and i'll have it mastered.
Trader1, i'll take your advice this spring... 1/2 tanks of fuel , 3 spinners and bud light. (usually drink bud) bud light's gotta be faster. :drink: |
Re: what props are proper...
Dono, keep in mind that 5 on the trim indicator is actually level with the boat anything past that is positive trim. I run it to 8 at times in smooth water and 3 when it's a little rough. I believe our transom has a 12 degree angle built into it.
