I bought some stuff from Phil Hall last winter he has a small shop in Muskegon I cant remember what it was called, small place off the beaten path but nice clean organized shop. He has the gift for gab if you know what I mean, had lots of racing banners on the walls and has some connection to Fountain Powerboats. Lots of pics with him and Reggie and Wyatt. I don't care who gets them running just hope someone does soon for the employees sake. I highly doubt that Great Lakes Marina( John Boltema) has any interest in building boats, the marina and the dredging company is enough for anyone and he's dang good at what he does.

I have not seen any activity. I drive by the plant a couple times a week and haven't seen any activity there since mid October. I worked for PQ for almost 7 years before I left in 2003. I'm hoping they get up and running again soon. I know a few guys that were still employed there when all this went down. I hope for them, their families, the customers, and dealers that this thing has a positive outcome.

Thanks for the update - and welcome to OSO.

Thanks for the "welcome" to OSO. I've been following this thread fore some time because I'm curious. I know MK and Denny B. from this board. I worked with both of them and they are both great guys. I've never posted before because I did not think what I had to say was important. Botttom line is PQ has built some great boats. I hope whoever takes the reigns does it with pride and integrity. I know I took pride in what I did there and so did my co - workers. Talking with and meeting people (like the ones on this site) is what drove our ambition.

So what exactly is the latest buzz with PQ? Are they good to go again?
