Re: Powerquest Factory

The word I got today was that things are still moving forward and with luck should be closed by the end of the month. Sounds like legal issues (attorneys) have been the hold up in getting closed in a timely fashion.

Keep your fingers crossed :D :D

GOOD NEWS!!!!! :drink:

I have a guy doing some interior work on my boat and he is getting some parts from the "new owner" of Powerquest. He said it was indeed Phil Hall and that it is a done deal with the exception of a few items. I know we were at this point with some other people and it went side ways, but looks like Phil is the contact man for parts anyway. I was told that employes will be back in late March to mid April and boat production will start not much after that.

Hope you don't need any factory support this year - if so you may have more seat time in a Chap than the PQ. :evilb: :evilb:

Something tells me my boat would be the last he would choose. He has a bead phobia. He might get more seat time in a Formula or Rinker though.

I was driving by the factory today and there was a bit of action. There was a semi and 3 cars, now what I dont know is if they were taking stuff off the truck or putting stuff on
There was also a flat bed pickup that looked like it said "Great lakes marine" on it. Ed are you in on this???

So there is my log on the rumor mill fire for the day.
