Excellent news! Their boats filled a niche. If they really do get up and running successfully it should help value of existing older models. Good luck to all involved in bringing back Powerquest.

I don't know about Mandi, but I know Mike, Mark, and Rick have moved on to other jobs. Mark is the only one of the three that stayed in the marine industry(TIARA YACHTS). I know several other former PQ employees that went to TIARA also. It will be interesting to see who re-surfaces over there once things get up and running again.

Unless I'm mistaken the web site has changed. Very small change but a change non the less. They have the history of Powerquest listed.

FF, it looks the same to me. I remember reading all that when I was looking at buying my boat in August of this year.

It will be interesting to see who goes back. If I had a job that was about equal in enjoyment and reward, I would have a hard time going back. Particularly not knowing exactly what you are getting yourself into, and given the state of the marine industry right now. Unless the new buyer already had staffing figured out before finalizing, which they very well may have, the up hill battle may still be in front of them.

I would say they are at the bottom of a very long and steep mountain.

No matter what , I'm happy to hear and see there's activity and that someone has enough faith in the name to take a chance and make it work once again. No one would walk into a business like this without a plan and I must tip my hat to Phil and wish him and all involved best of luck.
