Re: Powerquest Factory
Boatnt, Go get'em!!! If I'm not mistaken the Sunsation is only a 8' beam compared to a 8'6" in the PQ. The Sun's are nice but just to tight in the cockpit for me.

And the awesome ride stuff - sorry, but I have owned both - and I'll take a Sun any day for rough ride. But PQ has more room in the cabin if that is what you want. Like I said, depends on what you are looking for. |

Like I said, depends on what you are looking for. Iam just comparing the 28PQ with the 288 Sunsation. the 280PQ came out in 1999 and had a real step from day 1. on the other hand the 288 had a (fake) step up until 2002. Both great boats if you ask me :drink: |
Re: Powerquest Factory
When do boat builders start building the next years models?
Great Lakes Marina has a few 06's PowerQuests in already. I wonder when they were built? |
Re: Powerquest Factory
They must have gotten the only ones before they shut down. I beleive they come out just past mid year, almost like the auto industries do.

Re: Powerquest Factory
when did powerquest come out with this model a 240 ultra

Re: Powerquest Factory
The Ultra is a newer model of the Precept. I bought a new 24 back in 1997 and I believe it to be the first year they were made. We really enjoyed ours alot but just wanted a bigger boat is why it is gone. The thing we liked was the way the space was used, it has alot of room for a 24' boat, and if equiped with the same power I was able to out run alot of boats in our size range (232 rinkers, 232 and 252 baja's etc) :D
Very nice looking set up, Good Luck :D |
Re: Powerquest Factory
that boat just caught my eye i currently have a 27 laser
but i called that dealer and he said they would be at the detroit boat show this year (thats encouraging) with 4 2006 various models including that one posted just thought it was a good looking 24 ft boat (replaces the 237 stryker) he also said the new owners were meeting again today and they will either have a huge blowout sale at the detroit show or taking orders.... still up in the air |
Re: Powerquest Factory
Here is from fresh intel on PQ, at least I think, I have not read every page in this thread but here goes. The new owner/buyer of PQ is a company called TMB, they are in meetings firming up details today and should be back in buisiness apap. Long live PQ!!
