New powerquest owner
Hello everyone! I just wanted to say HI. Finally have the new boat home. It is a 1991, 290 Powerquest Enticer with 502s, the weekend package and tri-axel trailer. This is our first twin engine boat, we jumped up from a 206 Rinker.
I have really enjoyed reading the Powerquest Forums the past few month while I was looking. I have gotten a lot of helpful information. In one of the forums there was discussions about the weight of a 290. I weighed ours when we got home and the boat and trailer weighed 9200 pounds.
It is going to be a LOOOOOOOONNNNGGG winter!!!

Welcome and congrats on the new ride! Having owned a '93 206 Rinker and being dockmates with a '97 290 Enticer, I have to say that is quite the jump in boats! It's all uphill to summer from this point on!

skoboat,
Congratulations!! You should see pretty nice performance #'s with the 502's. Most 290's have the 7.4 454 330hp. Let us know what gps speed you see this spring. Have fun with the new boat. Where are you located?

Welcome, can't go wrong with the 29. I myself moved up from a Four Winns 221 liberator. You will be used to the size of the new one by the 4th use. Very easy to manuever once you figure out the twins.

Thanks for all the comments. We live in southwestern Indiana and boat on the Ohio River around Evansville. We occasionally go to Kentucky Lake and Lake of the Ozarks.

Congrats to the both of you. Thats a pretty big move up! Both of you will find the PQ to a very good quality ride. By the way I assume at least one you got a chance to sea trial??? What kind of speed did you see with the 502's??
