That is why I was asking the questions here. It looks as though there are a ton of opinions so I am going to wait until I canget her back in the water and see what i can see with gps and tach.

23P seemed very small to me, but without the data I cannot make a good arguement for or against :D

Agree - your data is everything. You know what they say - opinions are like a$$holes.

Good luck. And there are enough folks out here on OSO that I think you will be able to "test" a lot of props to figure out what works best.

Check the drive ratios. I had a 290 with 385hp 454 mag efi's that ran 23p Mirage's but it had 1:36 drives.

Is there an easy way to check the drive ratio. I looked all over the drive but was unable to find anything that I could decipher
