MP3 Players

Just wondering if anyone has been using a MP3 player in their boat? Seems like a great idea if you use the flash memory style . In rough water this would solve the CD skipping issue.

I have a 40gig Ipod and it works great. I bought a wireless remote called an iJet that plugs into the top. It has a range of about 150 feet but the cool thing is that it is rf not inferred. My wife has one of those vacuum sealer things and seals the remote co it can go in the water with me. I can adjust the volume and change songs. W make a play list of all the songs we want and let it go. I love it.

I switched to a new sony head unit that has a 1gig memory in the face place. It is the exact size as normal cd stereo but when you take the face plate off you can down load 500 songs from your computer directly into the face plate. It is soooo sweet, and it still can control my changer and has pre outs for my three amps. All that and it was only $279.00
