This is my first post so how about starting it with more rumors. I owned a 320SC and loved it for what we used it for. Unfortuneately do to warranty work with no factory support we got rid of it this spring. Being a fan of local business, I still have a place in my heart for Powerquest and would love to buy another one someday. That being said, I was at the GH boat show yesterday and heard a rumor that Kevin Hirdes may be a player again in the "new" Powerquest. Also heard the VP of sales for Chris Craft asking what they (PQ) want for it. New Stingers? Time will tell. The PQ parking lot has a lot of weeds growing in the cracks. Hopefully something happens soon but my fingers hurt haveing them crossed this long.

I've heard of the possiblity of Kevins involvement some time ago. That would be great if is true. Your last statement is something a lot of us have been doing as well.

I believe they have been closed now for over a year?? If not it's got to be pretty close. And the 2007 Boat shows start is just over 3 months.

Gosh, I hope so. You Wichita/Omaha folks made the party! Perry was starting to look like LOTO Jr. for awhile there

HAHA

I just got some NEW NEWS for you guys:

Currently they are in the buying process. It is likely to take awhile. Until the deal is final, they are closed for now. Though there is another slight chance something can go down but it sounds from what I heard everything is almost a go. Even if the deal did settle by the end of this year, there is no word on 2007 models.

Jack wasn't going to spend anymore money on the place. He claims he never made a dime in the 4 1/2 years he owned it (largely due to poor decisions on his part as a owner). So, the place either was going to sell, or he was/is going to shut the doors. Looks like the later is what's happened.
