Just wondering if anyone knows ....
What is the speed with 496 Mags? 73 MPH?
What is the speed with 496Mag HOs? 80 MPH?

Thanks.

I don't think 100 extra horsepower would equal an additional 7 MPH.

Mine came stock with 6.2L 68-70mph
I would think those speeds are pretty close.

Default 300 Revenge Top Speed

We have an '05 300 with twin 496HO's, 30 pitch 4 blade props, nothing but a bed up front and have had it running 87 on the GPS.

I have around 1100hp in a 2003 and have seen 90-92 so far.
Still playing w/props and gears. Changed from the stock 1.65 to 1.50 last year. That is pretty amazing speed out of the 496ho's....

87 on 496 MAG HO's is impressive!

The boat listed in the classified link in this thread is nice and that got me wondering about the speed with MAGs verses HO's. My last boat did about 69 MPH with 454's so either 496engine version would be faster than what I had before.

How is the ride in the Revenge? My old Enticer rode pretty well in Lake Michigan.

87 on HOs is very impressive.

Anyone else out there with 496s or HOs have numbers to share?

That's very impressive. Are the motors completely stock? On empty? Is that with a 5 mph river current? Enjoy, you have the best PQ 300.

Here's one for sale claiming 80 mph. I thought PQ marketed it as a 80-82 mph boat. Those are great numbers from 496 HO's.

A PQ300 might be my next boat someday. Unless, I hit the lotto then its a 42 Cig or OL.

You sure this isn't a speedometer reading? I can't see this boat running much more than 80 MPH on stock HO's.
