Yes it's a windshield, I don't really like bugs in my face with the flaring

THAT IS A GOOD LOOCKING VIPER. With the 500's you should see upper 70's and mabey 80. Mt 99 with the 500's and a 30' bravo did 77 with me behind the wheel. Got to 80 with the new owner. Better driver I guess.

The anchor locker is one of the things that sold me on the Legend (hate with a passion having to lug the anchor back and forth--especially after a few brewskies!!)..
Very nice Viper--what year is it?

That's some funny chit there Jim! I always wondered why your boat was so slow.

All three of the PQ 340's we bought are capable of 80 with a good set of labbed props. One of em can do that with stock props. And that is with HO's.

And BTW....it's Vyper....not Viper.

Guess top speed does have something to do with the driver. Have to tell you I was supprised when the guy that bought my boat said he hit 80. I tried and tried but could never get it over the 75 to 77 ramge.
Now I wonder if my current Avenger might see upper 80's with the right driver. My best so far is 84. Mabey I need to lose some weight.
