I removed them on my 29 and didn't like it.The props would
break loose on take offs.but the 260 might be different

My 260 didn't have them. But I know what you are talking about. They would not help on your boat. They are for boats that have a hard time getting on plane. And the 260 does not have that problem. They ventilate the prop to bring the rpm's up.

Getting out of the hole is no issue at all. I wonder if I would be able to spin a larger prop by removing??

Re: 26 Legend Owners

You need HP to spin a bigger prop. You might be able to get on plane with the plugs removed on the bigger wheel. But if you don't have the HP you will not get it to spin to the max RPM's An example, I tried a 24 pitch Bravo 1 4 blade. I was able to get up on plane no problem, but I could only spin it to 4500 rpm's. I wound up getting my 21 Mirage Plus reworked to a 22. I could spin it to 5000. That was after an exhaust and aircleaner change.

Thanks, Gary. After I posted that I got to thinking and came to the same conclusion. Gotta make more ponies.

Does anyone know if you can fit a 12" subwoofer under the back bench in a stryker/legand??? I need about 14" for it to work..

I've got two 10" subs and two 6.5 under my back seat. Not sure but I would think anything larger than a 10 may start to create structural issues.

Thanks for the info...do you think it would fit?? How much room do you have with your 10s??

Thanks again!!
