This will be my first trip to the nooner. Anything special I need to know? We are thinking about putting in Thrusday night and beaching the boat for the night? Has anyone done that before? Good or Bad Idea. Thanks for the help.

Watch the cops and watch where you step. It used to be a good time, the last few times I've been out there for it I wasn't impressed. You'll see boobies, but probably not the boobies ya wanna see. Fair amount of fights the last time I was there.

Been there done that. Ill do a drive buy with my boat but thats about it.I won't beach my boat or subject it to the potential damage that could happen to it there.A safer alternative for your boat would be Muskamoot bay (sp.) alot of the Jobbie nooner party overflow goes there.

Get a long chain for your anchor. I saw alot of anchor lines cut by props.
We were actually thinking about going over thur night and anchoring just offshore.
We wanted to be there early to get a good spot. Last year we were about 3 rows of boats out.
