Default Need a new actuator

Went to take the boat out for a final run before winterizing and as I hit the up switch it got near the top and tripped the circut breaker in he dash. After restting she did nothing. Well that was the end of that! I had to turn the screw in by hand to lower the sun deck. I've not taken the time yet to do any trouble shooting but am assuming the motor went on the actuater. I thought someone on the forum had one they wanted to sell?? I'm in need pending its the right size.

Still in need. Jim's unit would not work so before I order a new one I was hoping whoever had the extra one available would be viewing this post. Not the end of the world as its the end of the season and they don't seem to be to expensive at $250.00..

I just got one off ebay for under 100 dollars. What size do you need? A word of caution though, it was desigened to lift medical beds not for the marine use.

Mine is completly dead and when I turn the screw by hand I can hear a grinding noise. As for ebay there are two 18" units on there that they claim are new for $150. I need to measure mine and make sure thats the size I need. I beleive the 18" is correct as thats the smaller of the units made.

Thanks for the offer on the motor , but I beleive I'll need a complete unit.

By the way did you guys rewire to get a little more power to the make the unit raise a little faster?? Mine has never been real bad compared to other PQ's I've seen.

i did put the relay on -- i ended up with the new 18" actuator from rexmar -- the super fast one

so with the relay and the new lift -- mine goes up REAL fast!
