I'm just not sure that boat is going to give me what I'm looking for. Beautiful, super low hrs, does have tabs and single pickup drive shower, wind deflector, but I just can't afford to spend $55k? and then another $5k on a procharger, just to get a mid 70's boat I'm looking for.

A 28 Silencer with a blue motor, I think, is the answer.

Not Right here on OSO has that same boat....I seem to remember him saying it would just kiss the 70 mph mark but not positive I have that correct.

I have talked to him, he's a local (close enough)
Really tough to have champagne taste on a beer budget.

It was two people and 1/4 tank of fuel running stock B24 prop. Going with a good breeze and some minor chop. I didn't think I'd break 70, but the gps doesn't lie.

Mid-60's, maybe 67 if the moon was just right. 1999 280, fresh water, no wife on board ;)
