Default 280 Silencer???

I am looking at getting a 2000 PQ 280 silencer. Any one out there with this boat? I am not fimliar with Power Quest. Are you happy with it? Anything I should look out for? It has a stock 502, what kind of speed should I expect to see with that set up? I would appriciate any info on this boat.

Thanks!!

Well,65-70 on a stock 502 ain't bad. That's rollin right along on the water. PowerQuests are a well built, nicely finished boat. The quality is very good.I have a 02 and I smile everytime I'm on it. Good luck. Bob

Went at looked at it today, it was nice. It is a big 28' boat. I never been in a PQ before, they are great looking boats. Now just waiting to see what the bank has to say. If this deal goes bad, I will come to PA and take a look at yours.

Windsscreen. I saw one with a windsheild, the wind screen does look much better. Glad to hear they are faster too.
