I just bought a 2000 280 Silencer. The owner did not have an owners manual. I looked on-line and don't see one (googled it). Any idea how I can get one?

your probably better off just asking the board here any questions you might have since PQ is not around. A lot of guys including myself have had a 280. Pretty straight forward boat.

You should get a Merc motor and drive manual.

I do not believe there is a PC manual specific for the model, more or less you get a PQ canvas bag with all the manufacture's manuals if i remember correctly.

Ok, thanks. No specific questions yet. I was just anticipating possiblilities............little things like fuse layout. No big deal. I'm sure I'll figure stuff out, or bug this forum.

I agree I don't think there was ever a specific manual. I've got everything for my 26 but its pretty much all the warranty papers for misc items used to put the boat together. Like Mecruiser, bomar, insta-trim, stereo papers and so on.
