Hello everybody, I own a 280 silencer with a stepped hull. The transducer is glued into the hull in the bildge. The gauge only reads when I am not planed off! Really sucks! I think it is because of the air under the boat because of the step. I was wondering if anybody tried a transom mount transducer, and if that seemed to work better??

It took me a minute to figure out who you were!! We hope to get out Sunday, we do have a couple things going oin around here. We went up to Hardy memorial day, that was a good time and beautiful weather! Callie stayed on the boat with us over night and did great so that was nice too.

Well... Get 'em done and get out there
I plan to get 9 holes in with a (boating) friend and then we'll probably be out for the afternoon. if its windy, we'll be just inside the channel at Mac Bay by The Piper. I'll keep my phone on and radio at 72.
Miss you guys!!!
