I'm repowering my Powerquest 257 legend, going from a 330 hp 454 to a 465 hp 454. I'm running a Bravo One with a 1.5 ratio. Any ideas on what pitch prop to start with? Four blade or three blade? Thanks for any help.

I've got 97 26 with a 454 mag efi and have found a Hydromotive 22p Quad IV-X to work very well. Fastest and best handling 4 blade to date on my stock setup. The Bravo 1 four blade had handling issues . Otherwise a stock Mirage Plus 21-23p would be my next choice. Sounds like your doing some mods why not increase the HP's a bit more??

Money is the root of all evil. This is a replacement engine from ATK. Just want to get back on the water this year. I'm going to look into some mods for the winter, though. Thanks for the info. I looked at some of your posts after I posted my original question, a lot of good info. Thanks again!
