Has anyone put stand off boxes on their 38 twin stepped Avenger? If so how did they change the performance of the boat, what props were used and what was the approx. horsepower.

Mine already had them on there, 7" back. So the earlier performance numbers are using those boxes. Performance of the boat seems great to me...

Sorry just saw this. I had those labbed locally buy a prop guy. Did a really good job. But I had the Hydros labbed by Todd at Hydromotive. They also do excellent work...

Mine was built with 12"boxes and I run the p5x props. Boat came with 525 sc's and is now around 615 hp. I have the twin steps that have been re worked. Hope that helps you some.

I have a friend that has a 2002 PQ with 500s and spins 28 bravos,he tryed a set of 30 bravos but couldnt get the boat to perform right,engines couldnt quite spin them,maybe engines are a bit tired,who knows!
