I have a 300 Revenge also. What a great boat. Ours has the fairing instead of the windshield. It is a little tough on the eyes at speed but it looks good. We have hit 80 once but can maintain 79 pretty consistantly. You mentioned 90 at this time. Plans for the boat this winter? Here is a pic of mine: |

02 Avenger full cabin, head, refridge, VCR, microwave, Removable Honda EU2000 Gen, GPS, IPOD interface, 3 Batteries, Through bolted IMCO battery boxes, Corsa diverters with no mufflers, HP500EFI, Integrated transom sytem, IMCO 2'' Shorter Lowers, Hydromotive P-5X, Arneson Rocker Plates. 82MPH on a good day. Normally 78-80 in summer depending on load. It took a long time to dial this boat in.

Re: PQ Owners Check-in
Also note the Steering wheel extension on the helm. A bit of a tight sqeeze to get between the wheel and seat, but the payoff is the wheel is in your hand while underway w/o leaning forward an it looks better too.

Re: PQ Owners Check-in
Mig I need the steering wheel extension on my 26. They mount the bolster like everyone in 6'6". How hard was in install and what was the cost?
|
Re: PQ Owners Check-in
The install was easy. I had to remove the capnuts and studs and from the gerotor (which were loctited in) to facilitate bolting on the billet bezel(this holds the gerotor to the helm and is much beefier than the little stainless setup PQ used). The tapered adapters come in various lengths and two styles, either one piece where no wheel adapter is required or two piece which requires a steering wheel adapter. This mounts to the tapered shaft of the gerotor and your steering wheel mounts to it in one of the fashions mentioned above. I cant give you any price info because these pieces were donated by my cigarette friend who installed a Zeiger stainless tilt setup on his top gun. That is what I would utimately like but the $1200 tag is a little steep. Very nice piece though. The parts I was given are marine machine I am guessing and would probably cost about $150 not including the upgraded wheel I bought from livorsi.

Re: PQ Owners Check-in
Is it a 5" or 7" extension? I need some friends like yours!
