Hey boatn, the way I figure it I might as well skip the 30 and go a little bigger to the 34 which will still fit in the garage, I like the idea of a closed head as opposed to the porti potti under the v-birth.

as i see it the next step up from the 280 is the 34 viper. its a big step up tho. alot bigger boat alot harder to take out with just u and the lady. need a good boat hand buddy that knows what he is doing. plus 2 motors = twice the maintenance cost and twice the fuel cost........but if i every do get a new boat it will be 34 or 36 w/twins just need the $$$$

I'd have to say the 290 Enticer or 300 revenge are the step up from the 280 silencer... they are deeper, have more room, are slightly longer, and the addition of twins really completes the step. Going from a 28 single to a 34 twin is a pretty big jump in cost and maintenance

And i believe the 34 has so much more cuddy room than a 30 Revenge for spending weekends on it....especially the enclosed head.......and we like to weekend out on the boat alot.
