1994 257 Legend BR, 7.4 ~350 hp, Bravo III with 28P props. On gps:

1/2 tank, 1 person, 1' chop, ran 57
1/2 tank, 4 people +gear, just a little chop, ran 55

Great all round hull but as others said, not a speed demon. However, with the BIII in this hull, I can tow kids on wake boards at 12-13 mph and stay on plane. Throws a mean wake too-

tried a 23 3blade on the weekend got up to 63 5200rpm with 2 people and 1/2 tank..........but what a pain in the arse to plane, it felt like a hypo'd up trolling motor was trying to push this beast up & onto plane ....the 4 blade just roars onto plain in couple of 2nds. what a diff props make

Tabs down I'm on plane in about 5 seconds with my Hydro QIV, more like 15-20 with the 3 blade Mirage plus. I concur, huge difference, and what was cool with the Hydromotive, my handling at top speeds is better too!

Put her on the GPS this weekend and got 73 out of her at 5100rpms with a pretty stiff head wind..

It should have been 280 and yes it is a single step hull. Not real sure on the hp thinking it should be around 500-515
