Default 3-4' Bliss

Well I had my first taste of a consistent 3-4's for a long period of time. My local lake had 25 mph winds and once out from behind the fingers it was just like the ocean. I grew up on the beach in NJ so I know swells when I'm in them. My 260 handled so well I really never want to sell it, even though it doesn't fit my needs all that well. I had a blast, never sweated a launch and I didn't get beat up at all. This boat doesn't get the respect it deserves in the rough. One other boat out there, a 45' Carver, he was heading back in and looking at me like I was nuts!

i agree, my 257 ran better in the rough than my 280 but in honest 3-4's around here neither one were up to the task
