When someone get's a chance, would they be able to take a overall height measurement of there silencer on the trailer, and overall length measurement on the trailer. Tallest point, ground to top of windshield, and longest point swim platform, or prop, to front tip of trailer. Trying to determine if this setup would fit in my current shop. Thanks in advance!

I had a Silencer on a Heritage trailer and it would fit in an 8ft. tall garage door. Definitely not in a 7ft.. It also depends if it has a windshield or not. Mine a windshield. If it has a windscreen you can take a few inches off the height. My needed approx. 31 ft. of space to fit in overall length. Sorry I don't have the boat anymore to measure. You would also need to know the exact measurements from the setup you are buying because trailer brands will vary a little on the overall length and height. Hope this helps. Good luck.
By the way we loved our 280!!!

7' 10" with windshield. just over 30' to tip of trailer. this may differ a little depending on your trailer. i am on a tripple axle vip. Have you found a 280 yet that you are interested in?
Hey diggin, what kind of power and how fast is your 34? I really have the upgrade itch. There are a lot of 38s for sale out there but it would be a little over kill in my driveway. I would still trailer it every weekend and I think I could get away with the 34 parked at my house.

Thanks alot guy's this helps alot. I have a 9 foot door and 32 feet in lenth to work with. Sounds like i am going to be okay. I know different trailer brands can measure differently, but it sounds like it's going to fit. Have not found one in particular, but would really like the hp 500 efi. With a supercharger on it down the road. The goal was 85 mph, but i am being told this is a little high for this hull. I would be shooting for 80, which seems feesible. **** you can slap 1200 horsepower on a bath tub and go a 100 mph
I want to be safe of course and not push the envelope. The menu would include, 500 efi blue motor, procharger, or whipple, hydralic steering, some big k planes, a beefed xr drive, and still being able to throw the camper top up and spend the night. Thanks again for taking the time to help out!

So MacGyver, if you trimmed that drive all the way down would that give you a shorter over all length? Just wondering if the drive extend's out past the swim platform when it's trimmed al the way up? Thanks again!

Hey Specialk, I have twin stock 502 mags. I saw 70mph with the wataer pickup speedo which we all know is not accurate. The pickup tube bent and broke so I am going to install a GPS speedo in the off season. The factory test sheet said 74 mph on Stalker radar with 28p Bravo's. I have labbed 30's on it that came with it. I love the boat and the performance is good for having the comforts of home. Glad we moved up from the 280 but I will tell you it is a big jump. The 34 is alot of boat compared to the 280 but go for it. You will be glad you did.
