I am a Ford Service Manager for whats its worth!!!!

You have laws that prevent people from towing stuff overweight?? MI only has regulations on commercial vehicles. Civilly you could be in trouble if someone got hurt though!
I thought the tow capacity for a Fx4 was around 9500lbs??

Read an article in the paper the other day about michigans lax towing regulations as well as a few other states and the deaths that are contributed to it... was interesting some of the stories they told.

Trycks and trailers are plated by weight in Indiana, not to hard to find out if someone is overloaded or fibbing on there plate. Better call your insurance man, if you get in accident overloaded and your insurance company has common sense, claim denied. Civillay like you said, is this something we all really want to take a chance on????? Something like this could brake a person for life. Not a chance I am willing to take!!!!!!!!! If others do thats their problem but if they hurt someone in my family for doing something blatantly stupid than they will deal with what I have sitting under my front seat:angry-smiley-038:

I see quite often what happens to 1/2ton trucks that are abused. I had a 08 1/2 ton Silverado with 58k on it in here 3 months ago that rounded a cam lobe and about a month later it came back with a smoked tranny. Pretty easy to see when a truck is abused, the guy that owned the truck has a lawn mowing and landscrape business. I wondering if he was towing to much weight?????:grinser010:

Worse than French fries. Prolly a big bad Taurus hand gun! Ahhh I'm scared! If it'll even discharge...
