Hey I understand what you are saying ,,but seems like its one sided,
they could all gang up on someone like AJ but when its one of their own poof goes the thread..

as far as Jupiter goes ,its a shame that he had to give his boat up,Im sure his not too happy or proud about that but what can you do ,bad things happen to good people..its just like the old saying -should not throw stones if you leave in a glass house--

Jupiter is not know to give anyone a break especially to AJ and kid288,,so why poof the thread!

I think what AJ did in a round about way was not right, there is a fine line there, I am not saying AJ is a bad guy in no way but Joe got wind of it and built a business I don't blame him for defending the boats he makes, they work harder for that than many of the builders and live there. Not saying AJ was going to make them go out of business but it does not help someone selling a 288, like his friend 288kid selling his own. Or any Sunsation for that matter. I don't think it was that bad but maybe it should of not been done. That thread was not even up for 24 hours and then shut down, Jupiters was up longer and only taken down because of the back and forth.

I hear you and I agree for the most part, but the Sunsation site is really for current customers and future customers I guess more like a marketing tool than anything. I use it like a OSO and would like to see more action on there but I don't think that is what Sunsation is looking for.

The thread was poofed because of the back and forth, it is not a rap battle no one wins and most of the members on there don't really want to see that on there. It was not because of the Kid or Jupiter but if it keeps going what will happen next? Members asked for it to be shut down just like the AJ thread, it was also better that the 288 thread went away.

I agree with you 100% Joe should defend the company he built and loves,,
I just think Joe could have PMed him or started the thread and wrote what he wanted AJ to read and lock the thread.
why let everyone bash AJ and PQ,,I know its hard to believe but more people besides AJ own and love their PQs.

But you have to admit alot of people on that site have strong opinions and not afraid to share them,I go on Sunsation site never disrespected them in any way and like to talk boats,,because to me if your lucky to own/afford a boat you are doing great,,but some of Jupiter replyes to AJ and Kid288 were harsh but they stayed up ,,but as soon as AJ or Kid288 replyed poof goes the thread or poof goes AJ:eek:

All I can tell you is I have met AJ and kid288 and as much as it hurts me to say they are good guys..

who knows maybe this summer we should have a PQ/Sunsation get together..:drink:

I will call the PQ factory and get a owners list.......ok scratch the call to the PQ factory

Kid, not sure what you mean by 'dying breed'? Do you mean 'Go-fast' boaters? If so, you're wrong, we are all alive, well, and dedicated to the speed and thrill; this forum is proof enough...we're all passionate about performance boating. The economy has just weeded out the posers...

What I ment IS fish and i are in a decent sized generation gap from u guys and people are age arnt powerboating. There too busy trying to find jobs after college and paying back 100k worth of student loans.
