Does it get up on plane good?

Mine does ok, the lighter it is the better it does, we tend to have a lot of crap in our boat, when it is heavy with crap and fuel I seem to blow the props out pretty easy right as it is popping over the hump.

Cool. Thanks. L has been bugging me to go up there. If next summer gets back to normal we would like to come up in Jul or Aug.

I've never had an issue getting on plane, you just have to be a little patient and not push it too hard. If you put the tabs down it comes up better, especially with a heavy load. As a side note, I tried AJ's labbed 28's this summer and was on the rev limiter at 74-75mph. It almost seemed to come on plane slightly slower too. Acceleration was great, but just not enough gear. With the huge load of junk and people I always have on board, I think if I get the 30's labbed it will be perfect.

Ours is a pig out of the hole. Can't seem to find a sweet spot. It's real easy to churn props. On the other end it's just stupid fast. Up on plane the acceleration is unreal. Would be nice to get it out of the hole better. Hate to sacrifice top end but who needs to go over 90 on torch? :boat:

You should have a 38 with 525's....... You wouldn't have that problem even with 400 lbs or girly stuff and 400 lbs of beer!!:party-smiley-004:

And that is with 4 blade props!!

With 5 blades, well that's just even better!
