2011 Emerald Coast Poker Run
 

Something new to talk about.........Inknppr is getting people togeather for the emerald coast poker run in august 2011. Will post the official date when it is available.

Some people need to know by january 1 2011 so they can put in for their vacation.

So far from Illinois..........Inknppr 39 cig, myself 38 powerquest, boatnt 30 powerquest, pq man 29 powerquest, 2 people we know from new orleans with their boats.

Anyone else who is interested, bring your boat, and let the trash talking begin:evilb::drink:

AND LETS NOT FORGET PQ CRAZY..........Yes indeed, he is trying to sell his boat. So if it sells, obviously he wont be bringing it. But.......if it doesnt sell, i dont think he would bring it anyways, you know......he doesnt want to put the hours on it:party-smiley-004:

No excuses this time ladies.......More boats, rougher water, and maybe inknppr can chime in on how the pace boat works for this poker run.....

Is this a Thursday thru Sunday trip?... I'll need to put my liver on notice

No pace boat for emerald coast. You can run the stops in any order and at any time that day so there aren't usually huge groups of boats running together. We usually arrive Thursday and leave Monday. You'll want to stay Sunday for the big raft up at crab island. It's a great trip, I've done it the last 3 years.

Thomas........do not worry about me.......The 38 will be backed into a slip for emerald coast.......So now we know, there is no pace boat.....So you can stretch that 30's legs:drink:

Probably a week. Be there for the poker run, and leave the friday after the run. We will see what the others want to do.

Do you remeber the time we all went to the ozarks a few years back, and we were all bringing (our) boats, key word here is our boats that we own. Let me refresh your memory. 4 trucks with boats are waiting 4 the last person to show with his 38 cig. Much to everyones surprise guess what that person (inknppr) shows up with. A 20 foot 25 hp outboard pontoon:eek:, he (inknppr) left his 38 cig at home and brought that to the ozarks. Everyone thought the cig would be there for our first trip boating. But hey, why not bring a pontoon to the ozarks. So will you (inknppr) be bringing your cig to the ozarks, or will the pontoon be behind the dually:poopoo:. I thought inknppr has a 39 Top Gun and uses Garys old dually to pull it !

Do you guys know if Calvin is feeling ok? I am concerned because he came home from work early today and I have know idea what he is talking about above. First of all I have never and probably will never own a pontoon boat. I was asked as a guest to go down to LOTO and I cannot tell someone who is fortunate enough to have more than one boat what boat they should take to the Ozarks.....I was just happy to be there!!! Sure I would of liked to have been on a 38 Cig but like the songs goes "you don't always get what you want".
So with that being said lets get back to what this thread is about and stay on track. Yes I will bring my 39 down in tow behind Gary's old dually!!!:evilb:

A swim up bar!!!!!!!!!! Need i say more.......

Hey boatnt..... i know you cant swim.....but when we are at the swim up bar, i bet they will let you leave your life jacket on.:eek: Dont you worry, myself and aj fisher will be on either side of you at the swim up bar, just in case you fall off the bar stool:evilb::drink:

Since howard wont be taking his boat down (even if he still has one) maybe he can drive around meeting us at the different stops. This way if we need anything like booze, beer, or food he can bring it to one of our stops(kinda like a support vehicle).

i think it is usually the 3rd Saturday in August.

lets all slow down.. Calvin we have all been here before with you.. your going, then all the sudden things change. I think it would be best to let some one else take the lead on this one. Besides it cant be good to let the guy with the slower of the big boats set this stuff up. I may not be the lead dog but i sure can tell you this Boatnt will be happy to call you with the location to where all the fast boats stopped. You may want to ask santa for some more HP under the tree this year.:lolhit:
