There is no comparision between a Fountain and a Powerquest. The Fountain is shorter in length, and side board then the PQ. I personally would not buy a fountain, I am to tall for one at 5'10"

What's the details on this boat and where is it located at?
What kind of trailer is it sitting on?

True from the standpoint of ride, handling, and performance. The Fountain smokes the PQ. Freeboard, cockpit space, and cabin room the PQ takes the nod. Depends what you are looking for in a 38' offshore boat. I rode on a '97 38 Fountain with twin HP500's in the Sunsation rally several years ago. Ran low 80's GPS with 5 guys. Rode and handled great.

Linda (I thought it was Wanda as I stated earlier) from Quest Watter Sports is looking up the info for me with the owner (price), they are not sure of current pricing. Cant make out the make of trailer and I neglected to ask.
Are you interested in it?

Maybe!
Talking to the wife at lunch today and trying to decide whether to buy new 525's for my 99 or rebuilded my 500 efi's. They are appproaching the rebuild time. The 525's with the close cooling will work great for me in Florida where we live during the winter. I rented (boat) down there now but I want to take my big boy down there to fulfill a dream of running in the Gulf.

I have been talking with the dealer and we started some negotiating, a dollar value hasnt been agreed upon yet, but the process has started. If the deal goes south I can let you know...but I think you have to buy the rest of the boat to get the 525's.....
