Looking to buy a 34 or 38, any info?
Im looking for a 2002 or newer 34 or more likely a 38 powerquest. Anybody know any of the ones for sales owners, or have any input on something that isnt listed in the classifieds or on the typical boattrader, yacht world websites that I wouldnt already have looked at.

what you looking to spent???

Yeah the only thing is the 03 has pushing 600 hours, a broken hatch, and three 2-3" fiberglass scrapes on swim platform. No trailer. Other than that nice boat.
|
Get a fountain, or Baja.... Assuming you want a go fast
|
I like the powerquest look, and cabin. I dont care about a few mph better out of the other manufacturers. I would take the cabin room over that any day just my opinions. 10 years ago GO FAST, now look good and be comfertable.

No one who is smart enough to be looking at a Powerquest 380 will ever be in a Baja!

Well there big boater, I would run ANY baja with the same power, and have. And yet have not lost to them. As far as a fountain, they are fast, but I want room, you see I am taller then 5'4" and can actually see over my fairing. Now that being said people have there own opinion, but as for me I would never own either:sport009:

powerquest and fountain
well i have both a 340 vyper and 42 fountain lightning. like everyone is saying if you are looking for room powerquest hands down taller and wider and more cabin space as far as height. it just depends what you want. but i am in love with my 42 fountain. i am taking the 615's out of the powerquest and putting in the fountain and at the end of the year will be putting 502s in the powerquest and selling asking 60,000 to 65,00 for it and it is a 2000 e mail is want picts

Any luck finding a boat??

Just spent a 10 day vacation in our 380, awesome, for the money hands down the best head room and comfort. There a lot of faster boats out there, I'll stick with room and quality.

The room is awesome, we really enjoyed having the air on while at the dock! |

I really like the 03 in the classifieds but hes too much $. Nice boat though. Main Street: I called on that one a couple months ago and he said it wasnt for sale anymore because the owner wasnt negotiable and owner was extremely high on price for that boat. |

The classifieds one 90-95k would be a fair price, it has everything with extras, but still is a 9 year old 275+ hour boat. No top end refresh has been done either, so bam another 3500 you gotta spend very soon. |
One just popped up on GrandRapids Craigslist... Check it out
|
Anyone have any info on the 38 that just showed up on Craigslist in Grand Rapids? Has to have been re-powered with the 496's. Wonder if the hull has been re-worked on this one?
|
Saw the one on gr Craigslist the other day, its a 340-vyper, overpriced ,too old for me, and underpowered, nice looking tho.
There was a 99 380 on there too but not looking at that old. Thanks guys |
I have a perfect 2002 with 496HO's and only 240 hours. Dry stored indoors always and too many options to list. PM me if you're interested.
|
I could be persuaded to part with mine.........2005 38 Avenger with 525's, 250 hours, fresh water, loaded.
