Default Attention 38 Avenger owners! Need info!!!

Guys, I need to know what the X dem is on other 38'ers. Straight bottoms, first gen step and or second gen stepped. I'm dealing with some high prop slip numbers with a 28" Bravo. I also ran some 26" Hydro P5X and is was better but still above 20%. My prop shaft is 2.5" below bottom I'm thinking about adding a drive spacer but want a better understanding of where others are at.
Thx, LF

2001 380 (latest gen step config) and prop shaft is above bottom maybe 1" to 2" or so (have to measure next time at the boat). Running labbed Bravo 1 28's with lots of cup 73 to 75 mph gps turning about 4800 rpm's both engines, which equates to about 13% slip.

Thanks for the reply! Wow, 1" to 2" above the bottom sounds very aggresive on these boats. Let me know when you confirm that. I would be a happy camper if I could get anywhere close to 13%! What power are you running?
