After resizing to fit, how do guys get your pics to look so good?

We just bought a new digital this week. WOW they have come along way.

My computer guru at work told me that with the new camera, we got the newest version of adobe photoshop and it allows you to resize the photos based on the internet posting. By using this software, it resizes the photos yet keeps it crisp for viewing online.

Here is a picture of my 4-wheeler I just took today. The boat pictures are next.

Thanks, I follow the instructions and shoot on a reduced camera setting. It lists me below the 150K size and I still have to shrink it in Photo editor to 640 by 480, and it looks like crap. I did notice when I shoot a close-up, it is OK

When you resize in just about any program you have a choice to keep the aspect ratio the same. Click that button & then reduce. This will keep the picture looking crisp.

Gotta Have It

I wish that was my engine compartment. I took that picture at the last Chicago boat show......it was from a new 38 T/S Cigarette with ITS standoffs.
