Love thoes colors verbi. Wish mine was that design. I plan on painting mine this winter of corse!! Here is mine with the screen. You can tell its the same boat the screen just makes it more low profile. but you do eat the wind if you stand up in the bolsters.

All in all. I would go with the PQ between the 3. obviously because i did. I had a 27 fever bought and the guy was jerking me around so i drove 10hrs to SC and bought my 280 for 2 grand less and im very happy with my purchase....and the Fountain was only a 96 vs my 2000 PQ.

Yep must be the same one....I pretty sure he was running b1 on it as well, he was going to take it easy as he was lil unsure if it was going to hold togther....rigging looked good as I had a quick peek- it seems that the freeboard was higher then my 257 to

Yeah boat is running a Bravo 1X, which will need a rebuild this winter, top gear is starting to chip.....
I have never been in a 257 so I can't compare the freeboard but I do know the 280 is deep!

What are your goals? I've always liked PQ but to step from 25-28 is not enough of a difference. Especially if your on a medium to small lake. I would take a good look at the 30 Revenge (the one listed my friend built) fast and stable! I agree with Josh the PQ is a great handout/family boat. May I also ask you why you posted the three options?

hey powerplay, the reason for the small increase from 25 to 28ish is a couple reasons - we just bought a cottage that has a 5500lb boat lift that i would like to reuse, and as far as the 3 choices ...well i no pq, ive read and heard good things about the at and i guess the fountain as well. we had a gorgeous thankgsgiving weekend here (last weeknd) and there was either 42 or a 47 fountain that went screamin by and thought dammmn that is a wicked looking ride- dont get me wrong here not sayn the29 will be anything like that but the beak looked cool going by......im sure eventually i will get that 35+ down the road. actually i should have added sunsation to the list as well:party-smiley-004: just sayn! nice boats to

I was just curious because the 257 is big for a 25. Threefootitis can get costly. Sunsation builds an ok boat. Lots of killer deals on some nice hardware out there.
