Default 2000 34 vyper forsale

I am about to put my 34 powerquest vyper for sale. It has 2 525 volvo dpx motors with volvo dpx drives. I am planning on asking 60,000 for it. It has around 200 hrs on motors and boat is in great condition. I was wondering if 60,000 is a good price. If anyone is interested e mail me at
[email protected] or reply on here will post picts soon in classified section.

Thanks a lot
C roussel

Sounds like an interesting boat.
Would like to see some pics.
I have seen only one other PQ with Volvo duo props, but this boat is in the Honey Harbour area, near Barrie, and was a 38.
What colors and what options, and the most feared question, how fast?????????????????????

I think the volvos will make it hard to sell. Most people are scared of them because thay are different. My local mechanic wont even work on them. Ive heard thay are strong tho.

PQ put duo props on the 34 Vypers because they would want to hull roll under acceleration whereas the duo prop kept things stabilized.

I had the volvo dpxr on my previous boat, 30' campion chase 910 and had no issues what so ever and I beat it like a rented mule Yes they are a very good drive but they are not made anymore. Only down fall that I found was trying to sell it with this set up, it did sell but most high performance boats run the black which would of progressed the sale quicker

I believe Innovation Marine built the 525's for Volvo. They are bulletproof motors. The only concern with the DPX drives would be parts availability.

correct innovation did build them, they build now strictly for the navy and fbi, contact Dave Stiff at Innovation and he would fill you in with everything you need to know. Top notch kind of guy, I have had several conversations with him.
