If you have a 502 carb motor and it wants to diesel or run on when you run 87 you might consider running 89 to help with that. If it is stock, it requires 87 octane. Now if the motor has been redone and someone put different pistons in it, decked the block, shaved the heads, put different cc heads on it, etc. then you might require premium based on what the final compression ratio is.

This boat was ordered by Riverview Marine in Spring Valley IL. Driven this boat more times than I can count and an incredible boat (92mph if i recall). Also good friends with the original owner (boated the IL River) which is the most particular person i know. Had first shot to buy it but the finances weren't going to work .Good luck on the sell of an awesome boat!

Thanks.
We (I) wanted to move into a cruiser this year and that avenue didn't pan out, which I am very grateful for as we spent almost every weekend on the boat having a blast!
The boat has proven to be everything I could want in a boat, ride, speed and comfort!
It is now neatly tucked away for the winter, and I am considering my winter option upgrades, and maintenance.
I would like to talk to our mutual friend to see if he would still have the magic recipe (blueprints) for the Hydomotive 5 blades......please let him know!
PS: the Riverview Marine sticker is still on the boat!

Glad to hear it. As far as the props, I recall it would cavitate out of the hole if you were agrressive on the throttles and was around 88-90mph after sending them out to get touched up. I believe they were stock props but don't hold me to it. I can find out or even just put you in contact with Tim. Great guy, I'm sure he wouldn't mind talking with you

The 4 blades did cavitate some but the 5 blades hooked hard and had great cruising efficiencies. I need to replace the 5 blades as Tim had them!

I had my stories crossed. He said the stock 30p 4 blades were great til they were reworked then went south. The 5 blades were a result of the 4 blades getting tweeked. Overall the 4 blades were the best. Sorry it took so long, I've started a complete rerig of my Cig last week.
