I can, however, understand trailering a 38 every time could get old. I wouldn't slip in that tannic-stained water you guys have at the north pole either. It sure would look nice in my slip at gin-clear torch lake though.
We trailer for 3 to 3-1/2 hours each way to our favourite spot on Georgian Bay, no muddy waters here like the south..lol.
The water is clear like Tonic...

I end up working plant shutdowns and loose 5 weeks of boating due to the long hours, so having a boat in a slip would be ideal, the wife and kids could still go to the boat and enjoy it.....

If any of you guys know of a Four Winns 338, 348 or 358 model for sale please give them my info. Interested in these models with outdrives, not the v-drives.
Thanks,

Mike.

Monterey did the same thing with my 330, they renamed it the 340. A lot of boat manufacturers are doing that.

We had been towing a long time, 4 hours to our favorite spot, finally moved to a cruiser and LOVE the boat. Nice not having to haul the boat. Only problem is that we now miss going to other places after doing the same dock for 3 seasons. Having a gen and all the comforts, having the ability to stay out is awesome!

I hear you on the trailering, it becomes a real pita by mid summer. We'll be going the cruiser route and keeping it docked at one of our favourite spots...looking forward to that!!
