Default Need more speed

Having owned my 260sx legend for a couple of years now looking to squeeze some more speed out of here. It has the 496HO, She currently GPS @ 58 at 4600rpm. I'm looking at pulling the corsa exhaust W/mufflers non Switchable to running straight through W/flaps. Then looking at sending the prop in to get labbed. I do have tabs so hopefully they can squeeze a bit out of the prop. Was even thinking of new manifolds not sure how much more that would give me.

Prop is the cheapest and easiest way to gain a few MPH...everything thing else gets expensive.

What size you running currently. I still have a buddies labbed 26p that its basically brand new sitting around I haven't got back to him yet.

Pulling the "turbolator" plates out of the exhausts has shown 10-15hp on the dyno. I'm sure someone will dispute this but I read it online so its gotta be true! They even had a dyno sheet with colored lines to prove it! Lol

What prop and what pitch are you running? You should be turning 5K RPM at WOT so you are leaving speed on the table.

I would agree you are definitely leaving some speed on the table. You should run 65mph with that HO at least. Leave the nice personality girls at the dock!

If you're running a 23p Mirage Plus, be aware it's not a "true" 23. I'd go with a 22 or 21 Hydromotive QIV. I made the mistake of going with a 23 Hydormotive QIV, although up 2mph it bogged down my rmps. It did cure my chine walk in an instant, but I wish I went with a small size.
