I have to say pictures did not do this thing justice...and the pictures looked good. This thing is soooooo nice. I am so glad I waited and looked for over a year to find the right boat. Also I am so glad I got the 38. The room is just right.

I have no idea on the history of the build on mine other than I believe it was ordered by Riverview Marine (I think?) and used as the brochure cover boat.
I don't know who PowerQuest was owned by at the time of my build.
I'd be curious to know how many 38's were built after mine.

This would be pretty easy...What are your hull numbers?
lowbidr?
verbi69?

Mine is PPN380311697...It breaks down like this:
PPN--38--031--16--97
PPN = Powerquest's manufacturers code
38 = Model
031 = The 31st Avenger made
16 = Usually the month/year (if a letter and then number) or the month number (if 2 numbers) the boat was built. However mine is 16 and the last time i checked there wasn't a 16th month. Maybe someone can clarify that knows more???
97 = The model year of the boat 1997

The last 380 was at the PQ auction and sold for $60,690.00 + taxes & fees on 1/20/2012. The hull number was PPN38165G709.

So it was the 165th 380 made. It was gelled in July of 2007. And was being offered as a 2009 model year.

Interesting.

I'll have to look.

I checked my hull # and I am the 61st 380 made.

Well from the info I have heard mine was the last one offically sold as a new boat. 162cd one. I have been told that there were three unfinished ones after so it makes sense. So should I call mine THE LAST REQUEST? or is that gay.

PROWRENCH 06-18-2012 05:36 PM

Sounds ok, lots of ways to go about that
End of an Era
End of the line
Last man standing
Last Quest
Farewell Quest

verbi69 06-18-2012 07:44 PM

Checked the serial number tonight and my '05 is the 155th built.

Low bird...Last Request is kinda fitting......
