Default Props for a 300 Revenge

My boat has 30 Bravo's on it they have a few small nicks on the edges but nothing real bad. Trimmed out pretty good I am only seeing 46- 4700 on the tach. Anyone try differant props on a 30? The engines are stock 496 HO's.Thanks..

you should be around 4950 to 5000 rpms...
those engines should spin the 30s to that rpm range..my last two 300s did...

if not then you should try 28s to bring the rpms up..
I do have a pair of 28s with less the 5 hours on them if your interested

I had Merc Racing do a set up that ended up being labbed 29's and they worked great, and no offense to boatnt they were better then the 30's. Can give you more info if you wish but I loved them.

I see 4800 w/28's and Mag HO's. Would like to try 30's but that would take me under 4700 I guess??

If your 28's are stock you might be able to turn the 30's if they are labbed...

Call Bblades, they're on here. Are you trimmed up enough? That's what I found, my first ride I wasn't getting more than 47-4800 either. Trim her up pretty much as high as it will go with the throttle switch. Stock 30's on mine.

Do you get a crossing spray from the tips of the blades breaking the surface with inward turning wheels?
