The 272 Baja is going to be a bigger boat than the 280... It's Baja's little brother to the boss 302.
The 280/496HO speed numbers are accurate

I sold my 252 a few months ago which is very similar to a 272 so I am familiar with that boat, have never been able to see a 280 in person myself was just trying to get a feel if the cabin on the 280 was any better.

Cabin in a 280 is not bad at all... But the 272 will still be a touch bigger, but slower with same power. Good head room in them though.

V-berth in the 300 is probably a foot longer. Headroom seems about the same. There was more storage in the 280, but I have the weekender pkg in the 300, so it takes up that space.

I'm also looking at 272/275's and 280 silencers. I figured the cockpit would be bigger on the PQ? Is it noticeably bigger or inches?

All the room in a 280 is in the cockpit. Thay are very spacious. Lots of room to walk around amd your knees wont be burried in the dash or the bolster if your in the back. Buddy of mine has a 272. The 272 has more room in the cabin bit less in the cockpit. Just depends on if your gonna drive your boat or lay in the cabin. Lol. Id rather have my 280. But then again everyone knows im not a baja man. So my opinion is 100% bias. When i was shopping baja wasnt even on my "to look at" list. I looked at 27 and 29 fountains.powerquest, Checkmate, eliminator, and nordic. Thoes were the best built boats in my price range. Got a steal on my 280 so thats what i went with after having 2 fountain owners back out on me.

propwrench....how similar or what are the differences in the cockpit on the 280 vs revenge? besides the obvious gunwale/freeboard depth/height.
