Default extention box/ hydro steer combo. bang for buck???

My 280 has wore out the steering after one summer with the procharger as you all promised me it would. This winter im going with an extension box to help with prop slip and full dual ram hydro. Whats the best deal for the dollar out there. Keep in mind this is only about a 650 hp set up and it only runs mid 70s. So im not looking for anything that is sutable for a 140 mph cig or anything. Nor am i loaded with tons of money like Jplanes. Lol.

Not that great of a deal. You can buy a new unused mayfair set up on CPperformance for less than that. And im not wanting to peice together a kit. I want to buy it all togeather same brand ext box and the hydro kit that goes with it all at once.

with prop-slip issues i would think just the Box would be necessary, it not only is going to lower your X dimension slightly but you're going to be getting your prop back in to cleaner water... could be the missing link you've been searching for

I think so too. And the hydro steer is a must also. The stock stuff cant ha.dle thoes high speeds or the pressure the huge prop is putting on it.

If you look up "Violator" on here he can make you a complete set for a very reasonable price.
