The 260SLS is a pretty nice boat, there used to be one sitting at torch river marine I would check out. The cobalts are a very nice boat as well, don't kid yourself, and can be had with a 496HO... They are just marketed toward a different crowd. I think you should have kept the Lavey! That was a sweet boat!
As far as winter upgrades for me: underwater and cockpit LEDs, MORE stereo goodies
, and a little extra paint work... But where is a surprise

I'll get another, just have to wait a few years for the kids to older and they can go out on their friends boats!

Man, I grew up ripping around on my grandpa's 20' chris-craft scorpion w/ a 305 and if you would have asked me back then, I would have told you it was the baddest boat in the world, LOL. I would have killed to have a boat like that Laveycraft to ride around in... Especially if I wasn't payin!! Tell the kids they are crazy! Don't tell the wife that tho- you may not live to post again

Oh the spouse and I had some drag out fights over it, of course I lost. The kids are different today, especially in Dallas where wakeboard boats rule and performance boats are the exception. I refuse to give in, I'll make it work with what I want or we won't have a boat! lol

Stereo stuff and leds in the cockpit for me. I currently have a kenwood tape and 6 disc changer and a pair of 6x9s. WTF? I spent so much $ in 2012 on engines, drives, etc that Im still recovering from that. Plan to have a descent system for 2013.
